Event Description:
Join us for a fun and impactful day at TampaWell’s Community Tree Planting Day! We’re calling on community members to roll up their sleeves and help us plant 40 new trees in Woodland Terrace Park. 🌿 You will also learn the proper techniques for planting and caring for young trees. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm! 💪
Why Plant Trees?
Planting trees is a vital step in improving our environment! Trees clean the air, reduce flooding, provide shade, beautify parks, and create homes for wildlife. They also make our parks more enjoyable and provide a positive space for the community to connect with nature. Together, we can leave a lasting green legacy for future generations! 🌟
Supplies & Instructions:
🧤 Keep Tampa Beautiful will provide all necessary supplies, including gloves, shovels, and tools. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and are strongly encouraged to wear clothes they don’t mind getting dirty.
💧 Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, and please apply sunscreen and bug spray before arriving. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses for extra sun protection!
