This session will provide an in-depth discussion of risk retention and innovative financing strategies that are shaping the future of commercial insurance.

Self-Insured Retentions (SIRs) & Deductible Programs – how organizations can align these mechanisms with their balance sheet strength and risk appetite.

Loss Sensitive Programs – approaches such as large deductible, retrospective rating, and sliding scale dividends that directly tie premium to performance.

Aggregate & Plus Aggregate Programs – structuring annual aggregates and corridors to create cost certainty while protecting against catastrophic loss.

Internal Loss Funding Strategies – methods organizations use to fund predictable loss layers, improve cash flow, and enhance control over claims.

Please note that refund requests received after 12:01pm EST on the Friday before the meeting will not be accepted.

Special Note: Registration desk for check-in will be open by 11:15 am and no walk-ups will be accepted.
