Wednesday September 17, 5-8pm.
Presentation from 6-7pm, followed by a reception and book signing.
Join Wild Space Gallery for a special evening with Clay Henderson, an award-winning environmental advocate and author, as he presents his book Audubon’s Birds of Florida. The book chronicles Audubon’s paintings and descriptions of previously unknown birds of the Florida wilderness. Henderson visited and searched for birds in all the places Audubon visited from the St. Johns River to Dry Tortugas. Audubon’s Birds of Florida features high-resolution reproductions of all the thirty-nine birds Audubon painted from Florida together with fifty additional Florida birds from Birds of America. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Light refreshments will be served.
