We’ll be running three classes:
* Box Stock
* Tamiya Stock
* Open Class
Official Tamiya USA rules will be used.
*Exception: Battery mAh capacity limit is waived for this event. All other battery rules apply.*

🎉 Event Overview
We’ll be running two sessions throughout the day:
🔧 Fun Run (Morning Session)
The Fun Run is your chance to dial in your cars before the main event.
Format:
* Flexible based on attendance
* 3-car heats, grouped by class
* May include class windows or light structure depending on turnout
* May operate as open test & tune with continuous racing
👉 The goal is maximum track time and tuning opportunities.

🏁 Ohio Mini 4WD Grand Prix (Main Event)
Entry Fee: $10 per car
Class Entry Rules:
* Up to 2 cars per class
Box Stock Entry:
*Max 2 cars
*May NOT enter Tamiya Stock or Open
Tamiya Stock / Open Entry:
*Max 4 total cars (2 per class)
*May NOT enter Box Stock

🧮 Race Format *(subject to adjustment based on attendance)*
Qualifying:
3 rounds of randomized heats (3 cars per heat)
Points system:
* 1st: 3 points
* 2nd: 2 points
* 3rd: 1 point
* DNF / Course Out: 0 points
Advancement:
* Top 9 Racers based on Points will advance to Semifinals
* If a tie affects advancement, a runoff heat (or heats) will be used to determine the final qualifying positions.
Semifinals and Finals:
* Semifinals will consist of 3 heats of 3 racers. The winner of each semifinal heat advances to the Final.
* Final entrants will place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the competition
*Race control reserves the right to adjust advancement criteria or bracket size to maintain event timing.

10:00 AM – Doors open (HobbyTown)
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Fun Run (All Classes)
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Break, GP Check-In & Tech Inspection
Grand Prix:
1:00 PM – Box Stock
2:00 PM – Tamiya Stock
3:30 PM – Open Class
