This year's theme: Is there Hope for America? Many of the most worrying trends in our society seem impossible to turn back: climate change, mental health, polarization. What are the signs and paths for hope? As humanity faces massive changes in technology and our life together, let's get together to discuss how we can take on these challenges, adapt, and even flourish.
Big ideas and the life of the mind belong to everybody, not just elites in big cities, come lend your voice, and join in a celebration of great conversation, art, food, and more!
Tallgrass is presented by The Lyceum Movement, a Des Moines based nonprofit dedicated to building community, bridging divides, and elevating public conversation.
