EXCHANGE
- Bring jigsaw puzzles in good condition to swap for new-to-you puzzles to take home. Puzzles for all ages and abilities welcome.
- Bring as many puzzles as you want, there is no maximum. Bring at least 2-3 puzzles minimum. Some people bring only a couple and leave with more than they brought. Others (like me) bring 30 puzzles and try to come home with a lot fewer.
- Feel free to post the puzzles you have up for exchange on our group page and arrange any specific exchanges ahead of time using private messages.
Puzzle Etiquette
1 .Put pieces in a resealable bag inside the box and/or put a rubber band around the box (do not put tape on the boxes).
2. Exchange only clean puzzles that are free of debris, smells, pet hair, etc.
3. Do your best to ensure all pieces are included. If your puzzles are missing pieces attach a sticky note on the box explaining so.
4. Be honest and truthful.
Puzzle Swapping
1. Place all puzzle boxes on the swap tables. There will be tables for different piece counts, as well as a separate table for puzzles with missing pieces or unverified puzzles. (Unverified means it is a used puzzle, but you have not done it, so you are not aware if it has all its pieces)
2. Each person will receive a number. Every round I will randomly draw one or two numbers at a time (depending on number of puzzlers present). When your number is called, pick one puzzle from the swap table.
3. Keep going for 4-5 rounds (depending on number of puzzlers and puzzles). If there are any puzzles left, we will donate them to the Library shop, or I will save them for the next swap.
5. Pick up trash, put tables back to their original position, etc.
