TALK AI Think Tanks, held on 1st Thursdays, give you a chance to listen, absorb, and integrate your knowledge with expert counsel being offered live. Join us at our regular location of the Flashcube Building, 9300 Shelbyville Road, 7th Floor Conference Room! We welcome you to introduce yourself after the presenter and offer a bit of information on AI books, policies, available demos of interest, your insights from the work you do, or other interesting articles for others to read.
So join us on May 7th, the 1st Thursday in May, to hear from Eric Satterly, the CIO at Jefferson County Public Schools, the 26th largest school district in America. Eric Satterly was named CIO in Dec. 2023. A Louisville Male High School graduate, Satterly continues to bring his energy and ideas to the District. He will speak on "AI in Education," letting us in on the insider's view of where AI will impact the K-12 generations to come. Satterly had been the chief information officer with Bellarmine University since 2012, before his time at JCPS. During his tenure there, he led significant technical transformation and modernization efforts focused on supporting the university’s strategic plans. Before his role at Bellarmine, Satterly was the CIO at PBI Bank.
