Gregory Agid is a first-class jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, and music educator who has played on some of the world’s largest, most prestigious stages as a member of mega-star Michael Buble’s band, and who performs closer to home with Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Jazz Orchestra and his own stellar Gregory Agid Quartet.
Agid was born in Texas and raised in Hawaii and then in New Orleans, where he attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts alongside classmates like Trombone Shorty and Jonathan Batiste. He earned degrees at Loyola University of New Orleans and the University of New Orleans and was an early participant in the star-making Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp.
