Overview:
Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) hosts an interactive class about how to take good care of our backs and muscles. We want to take care of our health so we can continue to have good mobility, flexibilty, and range of motion as we garden and as we get older. Bring your questions about back and muscle health - our doctor will provide an overview and take questions. Participants will receive free garden seeds.
Visit our WellFed table from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM and taste samples of easy and delicious recipes.
Registration:
This is a free class. TFHC will provide the materials, but registration is required.
Please note: Call or email Nicole Pinson, [email protected] or 813-459-3831, TFHC Garden Manager, to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 50 participants.
Event Location:
The class begins at 10 AM. We will be outdoors on the lawn at the Tampa Family Health Centers Community Garden. The parking lot is across the street from the center and located North of Osborne Ave./West of 22nd St.
There is a sign in front of the lot that says employee parking lot and you’ll see raised garden beds. This is where you can park. Please call Nicole Pinson, Garden Manager, if you need more information or assistance.
We have a water cooler and snack machine, but we don’t have cups, so please bring a beverage or your refillable water bottle. You may want to wear a hat and sunscreen.
