Join us for a special opportunity to meet artist Alexandra Uppman during her Thursday evening sessions at the museum. As part of the exhibition Land in Motion, Uppman is working on a large-scale triptych directly on-site. During these evenings, she’ll be present to share insights into her creative process, discuss the themes behind the work and engage in open conversation with visitors.Over the course of two months, Uppman will create a triptych drawing of a forest landscape for the museum’s collection. Through a very personal and at times slightly eerie visual language, she highlights the beauty of nature and forestry while drawing attention to environmental issues such as the rapid decline of native insects and plants.
Come with your questions, curiosity or just to listen – these informal sessions are a chance to connect directly with the artist in a relaxed setting.
