When we live an ethical life there are many benefits to ourselves, to others and to this troubled world. And, we are fallible beings - doing the 'right thing' is not always easy! How can we negotiate this, and what wisdom do Buddhist teachings have to offer?Join Satya for a talk drawing on the Bright Earth precepts, which are both aspirational and realistic. Hear about common pitfalls and how we can counter them. Also hear about how feeling accepted just as we are can paradoxically help us to change.
We offer Buddhist practice between 9.30am and 10.30am - feel free to join us for this as well, or arrive between 10.30am and 10.40am just for the talk. No previous experience necessary.
Suggested donation £5 - £12 or whatever you can afford, either more or less - we have a golden bowl for cash, a card machine, or you can donate online: www.brightearth.org/donate
We will stream this talk on Zoom using the usual link, below.
