Join Mensun Bound, Marine Archaeologist, Director of Exploration for Endurance22 and Trustee of the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust, to explore one of the greatest maritime discoveries of our time.

See the extraordinary 3D printed model of Shackleton’s ship and hear first-hand how the 2022 expedition located Endurance beneath the ice of the Weddell Sea, combining cutting-edge deep-sea technology with a century-old story of survival and leadership.

From his early life in the Falkland Islands to directing globally significant underwater excavations, including the 'pocket' battleship Graf Spee, SMS Scharnhorst and Endurance, Mensun shares the human, technological and historical journey behind the search.

An unmissable evening of exploration, archaeology and discovery.

Event ticket does not include entry to Discovery Point & RRS Discovery. If you wish to visit the ship and museum, you can purchase tickets separately via the Dundee Heritage Trust website.
