This class will give you various tools to keep your garden thriving without overtaxing you, the gardener.
About this Event

TALK. GARDEN. 2026

We will have three exciting opportunities in gardening and nature in 2026. Each outdoor workshop will begin at 10 am and end by 11:30 am. We do not offer refunds if you are unable to attend, but if there is inclement weather, we will reschedule the workshop to the following Saturday. Any profits from these classes will go back into the community to plant a tree.

July 25th: Preserving the Garden and the Gardener
This class is not about canning, storing or saving seeds and fruits from our gardens. Rather, it is about preserving your investment in the gardens you have created. The enthusiasm for creating a garden is always palpable, but after a period, we face the realities of tending to it. This class will give you various tools to keep your garden thriving without overtaxing you, the gardener.
Each attendee will go home with two groundcovers to begin growing a living mulch. Please indicate in your registration whether your home garden prefers shade or sun so we can provide you with appropriate plants.
