Seachdain na GĂ idhlig (World Gaelic Week) is a worldwide initiative, promoting Gaelic language and culture.
Established in 2022 and funded by Bòrd na GĂ idhlig, Seachdain na GĂ idhlig celebrates Scottish Gaelic across the globe and raises the profile of Gaelic through community initiatives, schoolsâ engagement, and an exciting calendar of events.
From 23 February â 1 March 2026, the world will celebrate 5 years since Seachdain na GĂ idhlig started through a packed programme of events, talks, dances and performances across Scotland, including right here in Dundee.
