Back to the Capri to hear stories from the band Flyt Tyme! Did you know that Flyt Tyme later named Flyte Tyme lasted almost a decade and had a rotating group of young people that were a part of it? We are looking forward to welcoming most of them on our panel June 5th! This will be their first reunion since 2018 at the Super Bowl in Minneapolis.We are happy to announce the majority of the former members of the band Flyt(e) Tyme will be joining us to tell their stories. Come hear how this amazing group of musicians spent almost a decade together fusing musicians from both St. Paul and Minneapolis to create the early Minneapolis Sound. Then Flyte Tyme would morph into the legendary band, The Time.
Our second panel is called, “Keeping The Minneapolis Sound Around: Our Youth” with the people that are passing the Minneapolis Sound on to the next generation.
