SOUNDMACHINE CLUB
The event comes to life at Soundmachine Toronto, a great no-nonsense sound club right downtown - like so many of the legendary Detroit afterparties. It has a rich powerful 4-point custom sound system modeled on the old-school New York disco and house clubs. The staff are all friendly, inclusive and accommodating and we’ve always had a great time at this spot. You’ll love it.
DJ 3000 from DETROIT
Dj 3000 is the Machine Funk master and stems back to early techno days. He started with Underground Resistance and the Submerge label and continued into his own Motech label in 2002, working with greats such as Truncate, Ben Sims, Saytek and more. He was a favourite of Movement and Tectroit festivals in 2024 and he’s playing an all vinyl set for this night.
MISTER JOSHOOA from DETROIT
Mister Joshooa was the talent booker at TV Lounge, Detroit’s strongest techno club. Over 20 years he turned a small local bar into an internationally renowned electronic music hotspot and many of us have spent deep dark hours feeling the raw strength and power of Detroit house and techno. He is one of Detroit’s best kept secrets that we share with you for the night.
MOVEMENT FESTIVAL
You can feel enthusiasm building about Detroit’s Movement festival at this time of year. It is one of the most important and authentic electronic music festivals in the world. Maybe you’ve been there and love it, or maybe you’ve heard about it and want to get a taste. Either way, come out May 3 for a celebration of that great city’s people and sounds.
Hycastle
An exciting new non-binary DJ, producer, and artist with 15 years of music production experience and 5 years behind the decks. Exploding with a dynamic blend of tension and release for moving maximum bodies and minds. A co-owner of the Konduktor collective, supporting member of the Que’d Up queer dj community and a feature at this year’s Sojourn Fest.
They will be working over the Detroit side of their collection for this special night.

Esther Benoit
A great DJ/Producer who came to us via Montreal spinning tech house, deep & minimal - sexy, funky, deep & dirty. She’s also known at the host DJ and producer of the long-running online radio show Rebel Mix, broadcasted weekly on Techno.FM. She was the hit as headliner at our Halloween party 2023, and stretches out into a dynamic 2 hour opening slot for this event.

Thanks, we'll see you at the party!
