About this Event
Did you know that the history of Washington, DC can be told through its parks? As the first lands set aside by the Federal Government for public enjoyment, the Capitol Hill Parks can be said to be the nation's first national parks. This tour weaves the history of Washington, evolving park uses, namesakes and communities in a fun-filled bike tour that visits Lincoln Park, Stanton Park, Seward Square, Marion Park and Folger Park. The ride will start and end at the Lincoln Park.
