Vasario 14 dieną visus šunų ir gyvūnų mylėtojus kviečiame susiburti į mūsų rengiamą pirmąjį mažesnio formato Renginiuką (angl. side-event): Taksų lenktynes 2026. Geros emocijos, juokas ir ore tvyranti meilė visiems - garantuoti.Kodėl taksai? Nors korgiai ir taksai niekada nedirbo kartu - vieni ganytojai, o kiti medžiotojai - juos vienija žemas stotas, tvirtas charakteris ir didelis noras bėgti. O lenktynių idėja gimė visiškai natūraliai - šeimoje gyvena net du šie trumpakojai medžiotojai, kuriuos mylime ne mažiau nei savo korgį. Po kiekvienų korgių lenktynių artimieji vis klausdavo, kodėl taksiukams skiriame mažiau dėmesio. Tad išgirdome. Dabar atėjo jų eilė sužibėti - meilės diena tam yra puikiausia proga.
Jūsų tikrai laukia bent du įsimintini šuniukų pasirodymai: taksų sprintai ir kostiumų paradas. Kruopščiai apsvarsčius, renginiui pasirinkome „Ozo“ prekybos centrą, kuriame net iš trijų aukštų žiūrovai galės stebėti keturkojus, šėlstančius centriniame fojė.
Renginys nemokamas tiek žiūrovams, tiek dalyviams.
Varžybose laukiami veisliniai taksai, priklausantys šioms FCI (liet. Tarptautinės kinologų federacijos) pripažintoms veislėms: visų dydžių trumpaplaukiai, ilgaplaukiai ir šiurkščiaplaukiai taksai. Profesionalumas nereikalingas - svarbiausia pakili nuotaika ir ta lengva, žavinga sumaištis, kurią sugeba sukurti tik mūsų mylimi augintiniai.

On February 14, we invite all dog and animal lovers to join us for our very first smaller-format side event: Dachshund Dash 2026. Good vibes, laughter, and an atmosphere filled with love for everyone are guaranteed.
Why Dachshunds? Even though Corgis and Dachshunds have never really worked side by side – one being herders and the other hunters – they share the same low-slung build, strong character and huge desire to run. The idea for these races came completely naturally: our extended family actually lives with two of these short-legged hunters, whom we love no less than our Corgi. After every Corgi Race, our relatives kept asking why we were giving the Dachshunds less attention and love. So we listened. Now it’s their turn to shine – and Valentine’s Day is the perfect occasion for that.
You’re in for at least two truly unforgettable and pawsome spectacles: the Dachshund Dash and the costume parade. After careful consideration, we chose the “Ozas” shopping centre as our venue, where spectators on all three floors will be able to watch the four-legged racers having a blast in the central foyer. The event is free for spectators and participants.
Pedigree Dachshunds belonging to the following FCI-recognised varieties are welcome to take part: Smooth-haired Dachshunds, Long-haired Dachshunds and Wire-haired Dachshunds, both Standard and Miniature. No professional experience is required – what matters most is a great mood and that light, charming chaos that only our beloved pets can create.
