This isn’t a networking event.
Taking Up Space is a gathering of women lifting each other up and celebrating this stage of our lives and the beauty and power we all hold within ourselves.
Somewhere between “you’re too much” and “you’re too loud” (or too quiet, too big, too aggressive, too complicated, too ambitious) we sometimes start to shrink ourselves.
Dimming our light is a way to walk through the world with less resistance and pushback. It often feels safer to blend in, to not make a fuss, but then midlife hits and it feels suffocating.
During the menopause transition, a new clarity emerges. We realize we have been putting our magic and our truth on pause to make others comfortable at our own expense. We begin to see how powerful it is when we lean into our authentic self and shine our light.
We become women taking up space—unapologetically loud, bold, and joyfully alive.
Taking Up Space is a curated 3-hour collaborative gathering designed for women 45+ to show up exactly as they are — boldly, beautifully, and unapologetically. We are embracing aging for the gift that it is and not something to fear.
