There's been a lot of talk about the direction of "craft" beer -- where it is and where it's going. We felt there's no better way to address this issue than taking things back to their roots. Or at least to where we first began exploring this thing called "craft beer."Starting on the 12th, Join us Wednesday evenings in November in the Bierhall for a viewing and discussion of Michael Jackson's Beer Hunter series. We will start with the episode on Germany and proceed to the Czech Republic and Britain and Belgium.
Way back in 1991, we watched this series on A&E and were immediately intrigued. In the decades since, we've followed in the Beer Hunter's footsteps, tasting and studying the beers he consumed and the cultures he explored and explained.
Each evening will begin with a 15-minute presentation by our owner and founder, Scott Burgess. Then we will watch the episodes (ca 30 min each) and follow with a Q&A and discussion.
These are FREE to attend, but space is kinda limited.
Let's get together and get this thing we call "craft beer" back to its roots, Columbi-ja.
Prost!
