Curious about Acro but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect place to explore something new, have fun, and connect with others in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Join Mike Mckoy alongside TakeoverTO for an engaging session where you’ll be introduced to the foundations of Acro. We’ll break down the three key roles—bases, flyers, and spotters—and show you how each plays an important part in creating a safe, fun, and collaborative experience.

Safety is our top priority, and you’ll be guided step-by-step so you feel confident trying new movements. You’ll also have the opportunity to rotate through roles, giving you a well-rounded experience and helping you discover what you enjoy most.

No partner? No problem. Not flexible? Totally okay. This workshop is designed for all levels and all bodies. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been curious for a while, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

Along the way, you’ll build core strength, balance, and body awareness—all while sharing laughs, building trust, and connecting with an amazing community.
