In support of Izzy’s fundraising goals for White Ribbon Australia ahead of her half marathon at the Great Ocean Road Running Festival (more information coming soon), we will be hosting Take Back the Track Day Adelaide.This community run/walk is dedicated to reclaiming our right to feel safe, seen, and supported while out on the track. The event will take place on Sunday, 15 February at 5:30 PM, starting from Par 3 and following the scenic River Torrens.
Participants can choose a 5 km or 10 km run or walk, welcoming people of all paces and abilities. Alongside the movement, we will share education and personal stories highlighting why this day matters, raising awareness about the violence, harassment, and safety concerns many women and gender-diverse people face while running or walking in public spaces, and standing in solidarity with those affected.
Take Back the Track is more than a run or walk; it is a movement for change, amplifying voices, fostering belonging, and creating a culture where everyone can move without fear or harm.
