It is hard not to notice the Italianate style of architecture in Gettysburg if you know what you are looking for. Join us as Nancy Whitman, local author, and Italianate Architecture enthusiast, leads you on a walking journey of downtown Gettysburg. We will meet at the Arts Council for a short introduction to identify the elements of Italianate architecture. Then, we will take a walk within a couple of blocks from the Arts Council and see up close, about 30 buildings in this style. Join us!Instructor: Nancy Whitman
