Join us for an energetic and playful introduction to Japanese taiko drumming!*Ticket will be released soon! Please follow the event.
In this hands-on workshop, children will explore rhythm through movement, voice, and drumming. Using traditional Japanese drums, participants will learn simple rhythms, play together in small groups, and experience the powerful, physical joy of taiko.
Rather than focusing on memorizing songs, this workshop invites children to feel rhythm in their bodies — to listen, respond, and create sound together.
Through taiko, children develop not only a sense of rhythm, but also self-expression, confidence, and the ability to work together with others. Rooted in Japanese culture, taiko also nurtures focus, respect, and awareness of others through shared practice.
No prior experience is needed — just bring your curiosity and energy!
Children participate together with a parent or guardian, making this a shared experience for the whole family.
