Join us for Taiji Sword practice at the scenic Frankton Lakefront, on Lake Ave!Our beginner-friendly classes take place every Sunday from 10:45 am to 12:00 pm from beginning of April. No prior experience is required.
Classes are weather-dependent, and we meet on the green space opposite 8 Lake Ave.
We practice Chen Style Taijiquan Practical Method, focusing on both the foundations and sword forms.
Instructor: Yuxin Liu
Yuxin has been a fitness instructor since 2016 and has been teaching Tai Chi in Queenstown since 2018.

Swords are provided based on availability, so be sure to register early. First come, first served.
Please wear flat shoes, loose comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle. Please bring a warm jacket and wear gloves for cold winter days.
Fees: Pay what you wish (based on collaboration).
Chen Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi) Practical Method is a traditional Chinese martial art with a rich theory and clear, strict principles. We follow the teachings of the ancients to practice this profound art.
We are part of the lineage of Master Chen Zhonghua, the 19th generation of Chen Style Taijiquan and the international standard bearer of the Practical Method.
Yuxin Liu, your instructor in Queenstown, is a disciple of Master Chen Zhonghua.
If this time doesn’t work for you, we also offer regular weekly sessions in Queenstown Shotover Country. Classes are open to all levels and ages! The group class fee is $20 per person for one hour.
