Tai Chi Ruler for Harmony: An in-person 2-session series
This offering is a part of the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt's Annual Holiday Presence Offerings. Give yourself and/or a loved one the gift of presence this holiday season!
- When: December 11th & 18th (Thursdays from 11:00am-12:00pm CT)
- Format: In-Person at the Osher Center for Integrative Health
- Cost: $40/attendee (includes 2 sessions)
- Facilitated by: Cindy Hui-Lio, EdD (Certified Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor)
- Movement suitability code: M1 (no prior experince required).
- Description: This offering intends to enhance inner and physical harmony and movement flow by articulating circular movements with the Tai Chi ruler (stick). It will guide gentle rotational movements of limb joints and trunk with the Tai Chi ruler in seated (~75%) and standing positions (~25%). Participants are encouraged to adjust their positions as needed during class. Rulers will be provided for the sessions. The class suits everyone who wants and needs to expand their movement repertoire. It may particularly benefit individuals who suffer from hyper mobility, proprioceptive & coordination challenges, postural rigidity, fatigue, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and pulmonary disease.

- Cancellation policy:
Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date, there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the class start date.
