Come start the day with a weekly Tai Chi class at Nightingale Community Garden every Friday from July 10 - July 31, 9AM-10AM.
Tai Chi is an incredibly effective and gentle exercise that improves strength, flexibility, aerobic conditioning, and balance. Tai Chi is also excellent for relaxation or recovery for tight or achy muscles. Start your Friday with a series of flowing and deliberate movements to feel great for the rest of the weekend.Lucy Wang has 15 years of experience leading classes to help people get moving through dance and flow! Currently, she teaches community Tai Chi classes at the Kroc Center in Uphams Corner, twice a week, every week. She is pursuing a doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Boston's MCPHS, and runs her own woman-owned small business in Dorchester.This class is free and welcome to all. Tai Chi is an accesible practice for all ages.
Please pre-register for weather related upates. If one of the classes is canceled due to bad weather, there will be a rain date on Friday, August 7.
