Have you ever wanted to run your own music show?
Do you attend other people’s gigs and wonder “how do they put all this together?”
Are you an aspiring artist, manager, promoter, PR, or all of the above??
Tahuna is the place for you!
This workshop, crafted by experienced promoters, artists, and marketing professionals will take you through everything you need to know to organise, promote, and manage your own music events! Participants will be guided in the basics of events management and promotion, before being mentored in their individual areas of interest, and ultimately tasked to work as a group and organise their own fully funded show at BIG FAN, including designing posters, building a lineup, running a promotional campaign, selling tickets, and managing the event!
And the best part? It’s totally FREE!!
Workshop takes place on Sunday, September 8th, at BIG FAN (upstairs), with the participant’s show running 3 weeks later on Saturday, September 28th in BIG FAN’s main venue space.
