This fun-filled singing workshop will be a participatory musical experience in harmony. It's a free event and all are invited as part of the Meredith Bay Barbershop Harmony Jamboree which runs all weekend. A "tag" is the ending of a barbershop song. It's a short easy to learn piece in 4-part harmony that has a whole bunch of amazing 4-part ringing chords. Manoj will teach tags and all attendees will sing them as a large group. You'll get the thrill of participating in the ringing chords--AND in many cases you'll be able to hear an overtone which is a fifth note that no one is singing!
No special knowledge is needed and you don't need to be able to read music. So if you enjoy singing this is the place to be!-- Meredith Community Center Auditorium/Gym.
