The Chamber Music Society of Colombo (CMSC) proudly presents a poignant tribute commemorating the 400th death anniversary of the English Renaissance master, John Dowland.The Goethe-Institute Hall will resonate with Dowland’s hauntingly beautiful madrigals and consorts, alongside the inventive string concertos of G.P. Telemann. Led by Artistic Director Lakshman Joseph-de Saram, principal members of the CMSC and the Colombo Philharmonic Choir will guide audiences through an intimate exploration of Lachrimae and timeless Renaissance sorrow.
