About this Event
Tacoma Day of Yoga
Come join us for a rejuvenating day of yoga at A Beautiful Park.* Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this event is for everyone. Enjoy a variety of classes led by experienced instructors in a beautiful outdoor setting. Connect with like-minded individuals and celebrate the practice of yoga together. Remember to bring a mat or a blanket, water bottle, and positive energy. If you do not have any of these, you are welcome to attend. Please come play.
Breathe in the fresh air and find your inner self as you practice various styles of yoga while immersed in and surrounded by lush greenery. This in-person outdoor event is the perfect opportunity to connect with your mind-body-soul in a serene outdoor setting.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, our community of friendly and knowledgable instructors will offer particulars suitable for all levels.
*We have a little game going on. The location of the event has yet to be announced. We will reveal the most picturesque setting of Tacoma Day of Yoga on May 1. Between now and then, make a guess on the location. Everyone who guesses the correct place will be placed into a raffle and one of these people will receive an event tshirt.
Donations
This event truly is for everyone in the community, regardless of ability to pay in dollars. What is most important to us is that if you want to explore yoga you can. Please, join us. Also, any donation amount is welcomed. For those who are able to, a donation amount of $25 is welcomed, and people will receive a t-shirt in exchange. Maybe this feels like too little of an amount for you, and you want to donate $999,999.00 (more than this and taxes get awkward). Or, maybe you want to donate $19. Great, we will gladly welcome this and you. Our arms are stretched open and welcome you whether you pay or not. Just come play.
You can make a donation to Silver Linings Integrative Health, LLC on PayPal or Venmo (@SLIH316). Please indicate in your donation you tshirt size and fitted or non-fitted.
Upon arrival, all attendees will receive a paphlet containing information to enhance your individualized experience, as well as a map of the park and where studios are located (along Yakima Ave. through the middle of the park - from lady statues to lion statues).
Each attendee will stay at a studio and instructors will rotate among the studios exposing attendees to different styles of yoga.

Pledge of Participation (June 14-28)
Are you a business, non-profit, or government agency and want to take a pledge that you believe yoga is powerful? There are two ways to make a pledge:
- Offer a yoga event at your place (a pet store offering dog yoga, or a book store offering Gnana Yoga, hang the common yoga protocol sign and encourage patrons to try).
- Make a committment that you and employees will try out yoga during these two weeks.
Your business logo or name will appear on the event shirt.
