PFLAG Bellevue/Eastside has a booth at the 2-day Issaquah Salmon Days festival. We need volunteers for many shifts to setup/table, table, and table/teardown at this lengthy event. No experience is needed, other than your eagerness to spread PFLAG's message of Leading with Love and pointing happy visitors to our top-notch educational materials and swag. We'll be working closely with Eastside Pride at this event and between PFLAG's family and support expertise and Eastside Pride's civic organizing expertise, we'll make a standout LGBTQ+ affirming team amidst the hundreds of craft and food booths.
This is a huge event and our presence has significant community impact. Local lawmakers, youth, and families approach our booth all day to express their gratitude for the work we do.
