Join us for our annual Concours de Maryhill, Maryhill Museum and the Maryhill Loops Vintage Hill Climb event!Meet at Starbucks Issaquah for a quick driver's meeting leaving at 8 am to head east to Ellensburg, then the Canyon Road to Yakima and south on Hwy 97 through the rolling hills of the Yakama Indian Reservation. After crossing Satus Pass to Goldendale (with a possible stop at St. John’s Monastery and Bakery for tasty treats), we’ll descend to the Columbia River for a noon arrival at the historic Maryhill Loops road, where you can take a spin up through the road’s eight hairpin bends! Afterwards you can take in the Concours (www.concoursdemaryhill.com), art at the Maryhill Museum, the Stonehenge Memorial, or Maryhill Winery. Saturday dinner is at D’Avanzo’s Italian restaurant in Goldendale.
After breakfast on Sunday we’ll drive back to the Loops road to catch the hill climb race before heading back to the Puget Sound area via Chinook and Cayuse passes, with a stop for lunch at Bron Yr Aur Brewing Co. in Naches.
Important: Book your motel room by Sunday, September 21st. We have a block of twelve rooms for Saturday night at the Ponderosa Motel in Goldendale (509-773-5842); ask for the NW Alfa Romeo Club block. Current rates are: single queen bed - $100/rm plus tax, two full beds - $126/rm plus tax. Lodging is also available at the Quality Inn & Suites, Goldendale, and various hotels in The Dalles.
