Special Olympics Queensland aims to provide every athlete with an opportunity to participate in training and competition events that challenge them to achieve their fullest potential, regardless of the athlete’s level of ability. To compete, athletes need to:
1. Be a registered 2024 Special Olympics Australia athlete member.
2. Attended two qualifying competitions (i.e., a Special Olympics local or inter-club competition) for each sport in the last 12 months prior to the Games.
