𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔 𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗨 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮.
Tabata was the first guitarist in the legendary 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗦, featuring on their early releases. In 1987 he formed 𝗭𝗘𝗡𝗜 𝗚𝗘𝗩𝗔 with KK Null performing their 'progressive hardcore' into the 2000s. When this act petered he became a mainstay in the behemoth that is 𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘.
With an enormous catalogue of collaborations to his credit, Tabata rarely performs solo but we are fortunate to have him for 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 at The Old Bar, Fitzroy.
