‘‘TAAPITA - songs of desire and devotion’’ is a four-fold Bharatanatyam solo presentation, accompanied by a live music ensemble, that journeys across diverse realms. It delves deep into the depths of passion and tender emotions of love and devotion. Each piece in this performance is a dance of fiery passion, deep longing, steadfast devotion, and the bittersweet pain that accompanies it much like the scorching yet beautiful days of summer.
Pritam Das will be accompanied by Smt Srividya Ramanath on Vocals, Sri Sudarsini on the Nattuvangam, Kiran R Pai on the Mridangam, Sri Madan Mohan N on the Violin.
