Join us for a serene evening at during for Yoga with the Birds - a unique event blending the calming practice of Yin Yoga with the natural symphony of birdsong.
Led by the esteemed Rachel Brooks from , this unique experience combines the gentle, restorative practices of Yin Yoga with the natural healing ambiance of bird calls and the soothing presence of the garden's lush surroundings. Designed for all levels of yoga experience, from beginners to seasoned practitioners, our session aims to enhance your mindfulness and physical wellness, while fostering a deep sense of peace and connection to the natural world and one another.
This session is crafted to offer a safe and inclusive space for BIPOC individuals to unwind, reflect, and rejuvenate amidst the beauty of the outdoors and build community with one another.

***SPECIAL NOTES***
- This event is reserved specifically for BIPOC individuals, in order to provide a safe and inclusive space to explore history and nature.
- This event is ALL AGES - minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- Snacks and refreshments will be provided at the beginning and end of the workshop; please make sure to eat something before arriving.
- We will be doing yin yoga outside, so please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing.
**PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT (or blanket if you do not have one) for our session. We will have a limited amount of mats available to use.**

T3C's Black Birders Week '24 aims to create safe and inclusive spaces for BIPOC folks of all ages/gender expressions to connect with the outdoors, particularly in environments that have historically been inaccessible to them. Our goal is to equip the community with enough insight, comfort, and autonomy to embark on future expeditions on their own.
