CLASS INFORMATION

This immersive, hands-on session will combine traditional art & design techniques practised by commercial artists and designers before the introduction of computer generated art. Techniques covered will include cut and paste, creating collage compositions, using texture, color, text & imagery from magazines, Surface Printing with cardboard and paper shapes and colored construction papers, Image manipulation/Modification with magazine/book images, Image transfer with packing tape and contact paper. Emphasis will be on process and experimentation.
