Have you ever wanted to drive a locomotive?This is YOUR chance to drive a T Class locomotive for a Trundle up our line!
The experience will include approximately 4km of driving from Castlemaine and return including a photo opportunity in the drivers seat.
What's a "Trundle"?
Well, it's a chance to take the controls of the locomotive, under supervision, and drive a T class locomotive approximately 4km. It's different to a Driver Experience in that the locomotive won't be hauling anything and won't be tackling the hills between Castlemaine and Maldon that make our Driver Experiences so exciting. However, it will be YOUR chance to operate a diesel locomotive and to enjoy all the things you've ever wanted to do - use the throttle, apply the brake and, of course, sound the whistle.
CONDITIONS
1. Participants must be over the age of 18 and of a reasonable fitness. You must be able to climb on and off of the locomotive unassisted.
2. Please be aware session times are approximately 20 minutes duration. Please allow for this if booking multiple Trundles.
3. Time slots are booked as a 1 hour time slot, please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your selected time slot
4. Please wear fully enclosed footwear and sturdy clothing.
