Are your family, career or financial issues rooted in past generations? Find out in the systemic constellation workshop by Hendrik de Ruiter
About this Event

When you struggle with relationships in your family or at work, part of the cause may lie in issues that we carry over from current and past generations. This is an unconscious process that already starts at young age.

Systemic family constellations help you to identify these connections and to break free from entanglements in your family. Over one million people in Europe and the United States have benefited from systemic work.

Hendrik de Ruiter is a certified senior facilitator in Systemic Family constellations and a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming. He has conducted over 100 workshops in the Netherlands and Asia and will be back in Singapore from 7 to 12 December 2025.

How you can participate:

Joining a workshop as a general participant is the perfect way to learn about this methodology and if you want you may participate in one of the constellation sessions.

If you want to use the workshop to get more insight on something that you are struggling with, then you can participate with your own constellation.

It may be the case that your issue is sensitive and that you don't want to share it with the group. In that case it is advised to do a 1-to-1 session with Hendrik prior to the workhop, so that he knows your story, and we can bring it down to a few outlines during the workshop. You can also first try the workshop and then have a 1-to-1 session with Hendrik.

The workshop is on Sunday 7 December in the afternoon, and 1-to-1 sessions can take place on appointment from Monday 8 to Friday 12 December at the Westin hotel. Please email [email protected] with your preferred time slots.

Please note that Systemic Family Constellation work is not meant to substitute any medical treatments. It acts as a w-holistic complementary approach that can be integrated with other medical interventions to support personal well being and growth. This work is not suitable for people diagnosed with severe mental health conditions such as Schizophrenia or psychosis. In case of doubts, please contact [email protected].

More about the methodology:

Systemic visualisations are an important tool to help you to get to the core of your problem. Is is always led by a facilitator, who will determine who is involved through an interview. A one-on-one interview is advisable if you don't like to discuss your personal issues with the group.

After the interview, you will use objects, or preferably other people, as representatives for the people involved in your issues. The representatives will speak and move only when invited by the facilitator; this is not a role-play.

You will then place a representative for yourself and for the other people involved, in the room. It is important to do this through feeling or intuition.

The way you unconsciously place the representatives will you provide you with information about the real problem behind the symptoms. Also the representatives will be asked how they experience the situation. The visualisation can make clear where things went wrong in the system (e.g. people that are not seen by others, an order that is not respected, or people that are carrying a burden for another). This insight will be an eye-opener and breakthrough to solve your issue permanently.

The facilitator can suggest that the representatives make movements or say something to each other. For example, by saying that you respect somebody for what he or she has done, a balance can be restored. This intervention is very powerful, far-reaching and will definitely change the way you respond to your issue.
