ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
JOSH SILVER is the author of the acclaimed Young Adult novels Happy Head, Dead Happy, and Traumaland, and a new book for adults, Fruit Fly. Josh trained as an actor at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and went onto perform in the West End and on Broadway. After deciding to change careers, Josh now works with teenagers as a mental health nurse. Josh lives in Manchester UK.
MAEVE MARSDEN is a writer, theatremaker and the Creative Director of Varuna the National Writers’ House and the Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival. She is best known for producing Queerstories, a national storytelling project that has brought more than 500 LGBTQIA+ writers to stages around the country for the last ten years.
ABOUT THE VENUE:
