About this Event
This group runs for 6 weeks every Thursday from 3:00 - 5:00pm, from July 16 - August 20.
This group may be a good fit if you want to:
- Understand your emotions and learn how to respond instead of react
- Discover practical strategies to manage stress and tough situations
- Strengthen resilience and confidence in daily life
- Use mindfulness to stay grounded when things feel overwhelming
- Connect with others in a supportive online community
The program draws on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, giving you simple, effective tools you can put into practice straight away. Sessions are led by supportive provisional psychologists, who will guide you as you learn and practise new approaches.
Prospective participants may be asked to undergo a brief eligibility screening to ensure that the group aligns with their current needs and goals.
In addition to the group sessions, we offer free individual counselling for both adults and children. This additional support is available for those interested in one-on-one sessions to complement their group experience.
