SXSW Filmmaker Meet-Up 2025

Eager to meet creative collaborators? Excited to connect with like-minded artists?

Film Fatales invites you to an in-person gathering during SXSW in support of filmmakers of all marginalized genders and those interested in amplifying underrepresented voices in the industry to make connections and build their network. 

This will be an opportunity to talk with members of Film Fatales who have directed feature films premiering at SXSW including: Anayansi Prado (Uvalde Mom), Chelsea Christer (Out For Delivery), Geeta Gandbhir (The Perfect Neighbor), Giselle Bailey (Seen and Heard), Grace Lee (Forever We Are Young), Jessica Earnshaw (Baby Doe), Julie Wyman (The Tallest Dwarf), TT the Artist (Denim) and Winnie Cheung (Last Call).

Accessibility notes: The meet-up will be hosted on in Room 406, which is accessible by elevator. Masks are encouraged but not required. Please be mindful of the comfort of others and maintain a respectful distance.

We raise the visibility of marginalized directors and expand the talent pool for decision makers looking to work with underrepresented voices.
