Swords of Light are Ireland’s only full 5 piece tribute to Celtic rock legends Horslips.. They return to the Black Box bringing their joyful renditions of all the Horslips classics including “Trouble (with a Capital T)”, “The Man Who Built America” and of course “Dearg Doom”. Get ready for a nostalgic show spanning the entire Horslips catalogue. Once again they will be joined by Belfast-based singer-songwriter Davy “Ludwig” O’Neill, frontman of Belfast bands Chalice, The Bush Turkeys and Reeferadio, himself a keen Horslips fan. He will get things started with his own brand of eclectic sounds from his latest original album Blacksheep. A mix of rock, blues, celtic, country, reggae and Americana rendered acoustically to ease you into what promises to be an excellent evening. He will be accompanied on the night by Belfast guitar virtuoso Hugh McKeown.
