About this Event
Swords Into Plowshares: Recast | Reclaim, presents the concept drawings produced by three semi-finalist design teams who hope to develop an anti-monument that transforms the material and meaning of the former Robert E. Lee statue into a new form of public memory.
The exhibition presents the full narrative of the project, from the civic processes that made decommissioning possible to the design proposals that envision what comes next.
