Swordfest 2026 is almost here!For the first time since 2016, we are proud to announce that Swordfest will return to Northern Virginia next month!
For anyone new, Swordfest is an event that is dedicated to any weapon related martial arts.
We are expecting a lot of returning groups and a few new ones that will be participating in the event, with up to 10 groups already planning on attending!
On Saturday May 16th at Fort Hunt Park Pavilion C-2 from 10 AM - 4 PM, we will be hosting the primary event of Swordfest. Feel free to watch the martial art groups demonstrate and directly interact with the practitioners to learn more about what martial art they specialize in.
Lunch and water will be provided, with plans for dinner after the event ends!

On Sunday May 17th at the Cherrydale Volunteer Fire House, we will be hosting a beginner Battodo seminar, Jodo Seminar, and any other groups that are interested in hosting a seminar that day.
