Swing Swap is CSDS's weekly Thursday dance, held at the Municipal Arts Center ("the MAC") from 7:00 - 8:30 pm, and hosted by CSDS members.Host/DJ Schedule:

Swing Swap is a casual dance activity where new dancers can practice their basics and experienced dancers can try out new moves. But like social dances, Swing Swap is NEVER a place to offer unrequested feedback, criticism or evaluation.
The MAC is located at 1119 5th Street SW, across from 5th Street Station Shopping Center (Wegmans). This central location is easy to get to, with plenty of free parking and many nearby restaurants for pre-/post-dance grub. We are in the main rehearsal room on the ground floor, which features a beautiful hardwood floor.
Admission: $3-$5 dollar donation is suggested to help CSDS pay the facility rental fee. Your support helps us keep us dancing at one of the longest, continuous dance activities in the Charlottesville area.
Code of Conduct: CSDS has a Code of Conduct (https://cvilleswingdance.com/csds-code-of-conduct/) which attendees are expected to be familiar with and abide by at all CSDS sponsored events.
