Eager to step out of your comfort zone and onto the dance floor? Curious about the energetic world of swing dancing but not sure where to start? Join us for our regular social dances and let our friendly instructors guide you through the basics of swing!
At Shack, you’ll see people of all ages have been practicing their Swing Dancing including styles like Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Charleston, Blues, Balboa and from time to time you will also see solo routines like the Shim Sham, Big Apple or even the Trankee Doo.
Our goal is to have you smiling and having a good time while you practice this fun thing called “Swing Dancing!”
🎺 6:45 pm - Doors open
🎺 7:00 - 7:30pm :- Absolute Beginners Taster Class.
🎺 7:30 – 10:00pm – Social Dancing
🎺 Cost:- $15

The lights will be turned down low and the disco ball will be spinning and we will social dancing to Brisbane's awesome Swing DJ's. The music for the night will cover a variety of tempos so you can swing out with Lindy Hop and Balboa dance or Charleston the night away.
