SWING Dances, Beginning, 6-7pm, Prereq: None
We will be covering the basics and single rhythm Even if you have experience with swing, this is a great starter/ review of swing. we will be covering a wide spectrum of tempos and bring in modern and classic music for the class.
Swing is one of the most popular dances and can be danced to the oldies and to the music of today. Single rhythm 6-count steps from Swing can easily work in Hustle, a 4-count cousin of Swing. Dance Hustle to 70¿s Disco music as well as contemporary Pop and Country. Singles and couples welcome. No dance experience required. $59
Intro Social Ballroom, Wednesdays, 7-8pm, Pre-req: None
If you've never done basic social dancing, this is the class series for you and your partner. We will be covering the basics of Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba and Cha Cha. Remember, couple dancing is timeless, romantic and also a valuable social skill. Please join us if you have never danced, or want to practice what you already know! Learn basic steps including smooth, Latin, and nightclub slow dancing, plus the fundamental techniques of leading and following. Partners recommended, but not required or guaranteed. $59
