Swing Dance Social at Jazzbourne

Every Wednesday we have an evening dedicated to the original swing dance – the Lindy Hop from the 1930s and 40s! The evening begins with a beginners swing dance class, followed by a free swing social. There will be Lindy Hoppers' favourite jazz tunes on the jukebox, cool drinks available at the bar and space to dance. Expect a fun and friendly atmosphere in a gorgeous speakeasy-style jazz bar in Southeast London. Come to swing dance, or just have a drink and soak in the 1940s vibes.

Evening schedule:

• 6.30pm Doors open for class registrations
• 7pm-8pm Beginners Lindy Hop class, book separately
• 8pm-11pm Swing Social, free! (last alcoholic drinks served at 10.30pm)

How much? Free! (There is a class beforehand from 7pm-8pm which costs £15 to join, book separately). Arrive from 8pm onwards for the free social dance!

Cancellation Policy: all bookings are non-refundable.If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before the class or event, we can give you a credit to use for a future booking. Or if you wish to pass your booking or credit on to another person, that is fine with us. No-shows and cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded and no credit given. This is because our events have limited capacity and we will probably have turned away other people for the place you booked. Thank you for understanding. If you can’t make it to your booking, please cancel with us as soon as possible, so we can offer your place to someone else.
